Continuing Education Community Service Programs. THE ADULT LEARNING CENTER The Adult Learning Center at the College of Staten Island offers a number of different options to people who want to get a high school degree, learn English as a second language, improve their career readiness, explore their educational opportunities, or even apply to college.

Programs. CUNY offers a variety of degree programs specifically designed to meet the academic goals of adult learners. Some provide Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL) processes to award academic credit for college-level knowledge gained through work and other experiences.
